Nothing says "lonely" like a table for one....
I've sat there many a time myself..... Of course, a table for one doesn't HAVE to mean "lonely," but that was the word, so that's how Peter feels. I'm sure he'll feel a little better after he drinks the wine...and eats the flower.....
Awe he's so cute. I hope he finds a lady friend!
ReplyDeleteWell honestly, it's just a wardrobe problem...
ReplyDeleteas well, he might have more takers if he'd put out another chair ~~looks more inviting that way..
but top of the list is get some new threads!
.
To hell with them, Pete. Learn to enjoy your own company and you'll never be alone.
ReplyDeletePoor little fella
ReplyDeleteOh no! So lonely! I used to work as a waitresses and people who ate alone always intrigued me. They never seemed lonely but totally in there own zone. And I think Pete is particularly out there. I love his style!
ReplyDeleteThumbs up. I have a cousin who refuses to sit at the counter because it makes you look sad. Society needs to get over that stuff. It's archaic thinking.
DeleteGreat illo. i don't always dine alone, but when i do...I'm not lonely, just alone. Pete looks like he would enjoy additional company though! cute little guy!
ReplyDeleteLove this character - really tells a story!

ReplyDeleteawww.... eat the flower indeed little Pete, it'll make you fel better! :)
ReplyDeleteAww! He's adorable. Now sure, hard to get close to, but I can't imagine such a charming fellow will be alone for long? I don't mind eating alone, though I prefer to bring a book or notepad so as not to be staring at people or my food. ;)
ReplyDeletePoor Peter! He's too cute to be on his lonesome? He should just make the most of it - drink the wine & eat the flower (hilarious!). Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love his hair-do, he is such a great character, :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, funny! The wine might make him feel a bit more lonely, but eating th flower must cheer him up!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, Mit! I'm sure he will feel better after his little dinner--although I hope the flower doesn't give him indigestion ;)
