Roger never did quite grasp the concept of being 'wild.'

Hope you got a smile out of this one....or maybe a little bit of comfort......
If only every moment was this happy & peaceful.........

I wasn't particularly inspired by last week's Illustration Friday prompt, 'urban,' but I missed you guys, so I had to post something anyway! *grin!* Not sure what exactly came over me, that I was compelled to crank this guy out at 6:30 am, but I won't complain!  Hoping he gave you a smile!!! Wishing you all a great weekend!

Didn't think I was going to get anything done for this week's challenge, but it's amazing what one can accomplish during a couple of boring meetings! As always, I appreciate your visits & your comments!! Thanks for stopping by!

I just reached the 800 milestone!!! WOW!!!

Wow!!! My Creations By Mit Facebook page reached 800 "likes" yesterday! Something I thought was pretty cool, & wanted to share. Now, in the grand scheme of things, 800 really isn't THAT many. I mean, Shel Silverstein has 345,078, and the poor guy isn't even around to enjoy his popularity! JK Rowling has a very respectable 1,523,553.........and Doritos has 4,048,229...  Damn! I've got a ways to go to reach Dorito status! But considering I don't have the support of a big publishing house (yet!) or a few major films under my belt (yet!), I'm pretty happy that I was able to reach 800 people....and that they liked my work enough to click a button!!!! :) It's actually pretty amazing, & I appreciate every one!!

The koala was a request from my little friend Braeden, who I had the pleasure of spending some time with on Easter. As he was strapped in his car seat, getting ready to go home, he called out the window, "Michele, maybe you could draw a koala!........................and an owl!" This little guy is just too damn cute to disappoint, so a day later, I was drawing a koala. Stay tuned for the owl..............
