Illustration Friday - FADED
Their love for each other had faded to the point where they were
now referred to as "cohabitating birds."

So maybe this isn't exactly the right type of material if my aim is to make you smile...but perhaps you can find a bit of humor in their looks of reproachfulness & disdain....maybe? OK. Maybe not. But you can't say it doesn't fit this week's theme!! (Quite honestly, I don't know why one of them just doesn't fly away!)  As always, I appreciate your visit and your comments!!

  2. This does make you smile :-) And I think these guys might still have some hope... (Or am I a hopeless optimist?)

  3. I hope this is just a valley stage in their relationship. Perhaps soon they will have another peak.

  4. Very expressive pair...and I like how the one on the left has a slightly cocked head and that side-long glance. I'm smiling :)

  9. Mission accomplished: I smiled. I wonder if that means I've been married too long... For real though, this is a great concept and looks awesome. Nice job. Also, thanks for checking out my entry this week and for your nice words!

  12. Ha! Definitely smiling. We all have our ups & downs-- I prescribe a date night or two. It does a couple good to get out of the cage now & then!

  16. In Scotland cohabitation is referred to as a 'bidie in' that is someone who stays in with someone. Anyway the expression on the birds show there is hope I think.
