Illustration Friday - HYBRID

Missed participating last week, as I took my first vacation in over 10 years to Colorado. (BEST. TRIP. EVER.) I arrived home after midnight Monday night, but hopped right back into this week's challenge  Tuesday on less than 5 hours sleep, so if you find this guy to be a bit strange, my excuse is my brain wasn't firing on all 8 cylinders! Between the natural beauty & all of the fabulous art galleries I visited, it was an incredibly inspirational trip! I'm sharing a few photos below for those of you who have never experienced this breathtaking place...enjoy!

  1. Funniest animal expressions in the blog world!

Gosh, there's all that beauty there? I only did two things while in Colorado: The bars and Dinosaur National Monument. Met some beauties in the bars but the dinosaur scene was dead. Is it okay to say you look hot? If not then please delete me.

    2. Just one more question: How long did you have to sit there waiting for that steam train to show up as your backdrop? That is sooo cool.

    3. Oh, I just called, & told them I needed it as part of a backdrop for a really cool shot. They said no problem & came chugging right over! (Actually, it was sheer luck! I didn't even know it was in the shot until later - got some great pix of it as it went by, though!)

  2. So that's how the sheep hang in the night sky for counting. Even on less than full energy, nicely done. Glad you had such a wonderful vacation, Colorado is beautiful!

  8. Great happy sheep and am wondering if the big sky and stars and other hoofed creatures in Colorado inspired you a bit for this one... I agree, greatest animal expressions online/anywhere! Love the fluffy wool and the character shapes.
