Swimming Seymour
WOW!!! I'm early this week!!! (Well, for me, anyway!) This guy began as a quick sketch during a meeting on Friday. Wasn't sure I'd get to finished art at all, things have been so hectic lately, but my weekend plans fell through, & I had some unexpected studio time! (Never a bad thing!) And so I present to you, swimming Seymour! As always, thanks for stopping by!!!

  1. Dang, you beat me. I'll post later tonight, which is a bit early for me, too. This guy would make a great design for a ceramic bathroom tile. He's cool.

  2. You beat me too... I got a few hours tonight so I've been working on it... You nailed this character design Mit, Seymour looks amazing and fun. It may suck for you that your weekend plans fell through, but we all benefit by getting more of your work...

  3. You have a good attitude about your weekend plans. Less plans = more art. Seymour the Sea Horse is adorable.

  12. Nice work Mit..It reminds me of when I was a Kid trying to look inside the waves (without goggles in the North sea) to see Sea Horses....Why would I do that??
My Mum told me that they were in there...

  14. Great choice, nicely articulated! He's got sass and, if it is possible for a seahorse, he is strutting his stuff! Great color and composition.

  15. Seymour is such a great name for a seahorse! He looks somewhere between proud and embarrassed about something, maybe it's the bubbles :) Love the colours to :)
