"Bombs away!!!"

Ever look up and see a squirrel scampering across a telephone wire and think to yourself, "Man, that thing is CRAZY?!" Well, that was my inspiration for this week's illustration challenge: HEIGHTS. I always worry they may fall, but to be honest, between the cars and the predators, they're probably a heck of a lot safer up there! I had quite a few ideas that I was excited about this week...if I have time, I'll add another later! Thanks so much for visiting!

Maggie had no idea what happened! She'd only gone into the kitchen for a minute to fetch the carrots!

This week was another fun one for me! Lots of things popped into my head when I first read the prompt, "puzzled," and the first was a dog cocking its head. But I thought that might be a bit popular, so I went with something different....and INDOORS! Needed a change from all the woodsy scenes I've been doing lately! So I did the line drawing for the piece above last night. But today, during a meeting at work (where I do my best doodling!) I came back to the dog cocking it's head in puzzlement.  Thought I'd share him with you as well...

The musical stylings of the Grey Family were blues at their best......or at least THEY thought so.......

I think this is actually an illustration of me (squirrel) and my neighbors around 3am during the summer!!!
Played around with my tablet for this one....which I was never any good at & haven't touched in at least 5 years. But had some fun! Might need to treat myself to a new toy if I can manage to get good at it! Big thank you to all who visited last week, & sent get well wishes! They (& a half a bottle of Nyquil!) made me feel much better! While an expensive gift, Timothy thought the return was well worth the investment....

With Easter approaching, & Spring in the air, I thought some bunny-love was in order. Have not been feeling well the past 2 days, so I was sketching this one out with kleenex in hand, & rendering it in photoshop a bit bleary-eyed, but I hope you enjoy it just the same!!
