Illustration Friday - JUMP

Mack considered himself fairly athletic, so he was up to the challenge when the girls invited him to play during recess. However, as he jumped, he thought to himself, "What did I get myself into?!"

Each week I try to play around, experiment, and have some fun.  I figured there may be several pieces featuring jumping rope, so I wanted mine to be a little bit different..... I hoped bringing Mack onto the playground would accomplish that....

When I learned the theme this week was "JUMP," I couldn't help but recall poor Molly and Rusty from "INTENTION" and wanted to give them another moment in the sun, to make up for the pain & suffering. Unfortunately, they don't really qualify for "JUMP."  Maybe......"FAILED-TO-JUMP......." and of course, "INTENDED-TO-JUMP....."    But you'll be glad to know Molly has fully recovered from her concussion, and now sweeps the rails for spiders before bringing Rusty onto the course!

It was Molly's INTENTION to clear the fence WITH Rusty, but unfortunately, she ended up going it alone.

As always, I thank you for visiting! Be sure to "follow" this blog if you don't want to miss any of the fun! And if you feel so inclined, please check out & "like" my page on Facebook (link in the top right corner!) See you next week!

  14. Haha the tiger's expression is priceless. Definitely worried. Little girls will do that to a tiger in some circumstances. Love Rusty, too!

  26. Well ... it's a very important lesson for Mark. Don't mess with a girls game of skipping rope ... you don't stand a chance.

  27. HAHAHAHA! Ahh, his expression is PRICELESS! I saw a video of a dog who actually can double-dutch!

Glad you gave Molly and Rusty another moment to shine. Still not doing it right, I see, but practice makes perfect. Love your humor!

  29. I love it that Mark is the one who's intimidated! And Rusty too, come to think of it. (Though in that case poor Molly bears the brunt of his arachnophobia!)

(Also, how cool to work for a hoop-making company! I make a lot of hoops but mainly to feed my own addiction. %\ Keep at it with opposite current-- you'll be hoopidextrous eventually, I promise!)
