Their love for each other had faded to the point where they were
now referred to as "cohabitating birds."
So maybe this isn't exactly the right type of material if my aim is to make you smile...but perhaps you can find a bit of humor in their looks of reproachfulness & disdain....maybe? OK. Maybe not. But you can't say it doesn't fit this week's theme!! (Quite honestly, I don't know why one of them just doesn't fly away!) As always, I appreciate your visit and your comments!!
Haha I like this a lot! I like how you used the concept very much :)
ReplyDeleteThis does make you smile :-) And I think these guys might still have some hope... (Or am I a hopeless optimist?)
ReplyDeleteI hope this is just a valley stage in their relationship. Perhaps soon they will have another peak.
ReplyDeleteVery expressive pair...and I like how the one on the left has a slightly cocked head and that side-long glance. I'm smiling :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Love the glances and the colors, too!
ReplyDeleteCute! I hope they can work it out...LOL
ReplyDeleteNice job with very subtle expressions!
ReplyDeleteI like it. Different use of the word and nicely protrayed. The expressive eyes are great.
ReplyDeleteMission accomplished: I smiled. I wonder if that means I've been married too long... For real though, this is a great concept and looks awesome. Nice job. Also, thanks for checking out my entry this week and for your nice words!
ReplyDeleteI like this take too and their expressions say it all.
DeleteThanks for stopping by mine too. :-)
Nice connecting.
Lisa G.
very cute, they'll feel differently about it tomorrow :)
ReplyDeletelol I know the feeling
ReplyDeleteawesome! great colors!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for the topic, hope they can work it out :)
ReplyDeleteHa! Definitely smiling. We all have our ups & downs-- I prescribe a date night or two. It does a couple good to get out of the cage now & then!
ReplyDeleteLove this, and love the colors!! You captured the topic perfectly! Poor guys, they'll work it out I am sure. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL, exactly the opposite. we're still the "Love Birds!" lovely illustration, so smooth and clean...yet very expressive! Thanks for your comment.
ReplyDeletelove may be faded, but the color indicates that there is much love! :)
ReplyDeleteIn Scotland cohabitation is referred to as a 'bidie in' that is someone who stays in with someone. Anyway the expression on the birds show there is hope I think.
ReplyDeleteOh poor birdies! They are darn cute, though.
ReplyDeleteLovely illustration! I like the way they look.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my entry!
Aww.. the poor love birds, they may need to see a relationship specialist. Lovely illustration though. Great colours.
ReplyDeleteOh this is a great one! Such a different take on the word! Love the birds. Maybe they will make up? Great use of color and expression!! :D
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, sad! But they are so cute. I shall hold out hope it is simply a phase and they will be back to necking and things in no time flat!
ReplyDeleteI does fit the topic (poor birds), I love both of them.
ReplyDeleteSo sad, but they are really cute. :)
