All the better to see you with!
With that many eyes, there's a lot of seeing going on! (Some with the aid of glasses!) Not to mention the fact that the spider is quite a sight to begin with! (Is the fly more horrified at its choice in reading material or taste in shoes?!)
Yeah, I got a little silly this week. Mixed some techniques, and in general, just played around. Wouldn't consider the result my best work, but it was fun!!
I always draw something new each week for Illustration Friday, thus the spider & the fly, but I thought this old favorite (below) also fit the theme pretty well. As always, I appreciate your comments & taking the time to check out my work!! Until next week........

I prefer the reading tiger, because I am afraid of spider... but it does look silly. :)
ReplyDeleteWe all need to be silly. It allows creativity to flourish. It seems your spider is ready at a moments notice for a run in the park, or a night on the town. I like your reading tiger very much. I want to tickle his feet.
ReplyDeleteHave to say the selection of spider footwear is pretty cool in this one. Love the tiger snuggled up reading too.
ReplyDeleteI think its definitely the pink high heels that have the fly in a state of shock - what was the spider thinking? Pink and green should never be seen... ;D
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Recipes on the Fly! So funny and clever! I also love the footwear. I agree with Mardi...we all need to be silly!
ReplyDeletePS LOVE the tiger, too...he looks so intellectual.
Haha! Love it! Love the recipe book too! Definitely gave me smile this morning!
ReplyDeletelove your style-challenged spider...LOL
ReplyDeleteThey are both good but I prefer the tiger... but the spider is cute and wonder what recipe is in store for the poor little fly!
ReplyDeleteI like them both, but the tiger is the one I prefer too.

I like your quirky spider, and the energy and bright colors of your tiger!
ReplyDeleteVibrant and fun! I love the spider.
ReplyDeleteOh dear... I'm a bit of an arachnophobe... those critters are scary enough without vision enhancement. Now I'm going to be as frightened as that poor fly! Our only hope is that the high heels will slow her down.
ReplyDeleteHahaha the footwear is cracking me up. And the look on that spider's face is priceless! Beautiful tiger too. I just love the giant feet!
ReplyDeletelove the spider illustration, put a big smile on my face :)
ReplyDeleteWhat's better than a spider for "sight"? :) Very cute idea. I like the tiger too. Nice!
ReplyDelete'Recipe on the fly'- that's really funny. poor fly though.I'm smiling now!Love the tiger to- he seems to be very studious.
ReplyDeleteYour art is very cool. I like both of these characters. Very imaginative!
ReplyDeleteThat's a very cool spider. And your tiger illustration is delightful. I imagine a spider would be an optometrist's nightmare. Actually, a tiger would be too... gulp.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for sight! I love the way the tiger is curled around the book. Nice job and thanks for visiting my blog :)
ReplyDeletethese are both so lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love the tiger - the composition is awesome and the idea is good))
