Wishing you all a happy, creative, productive & maybe just a little bit magical new year!
I've got lots of fun, artistic things planned for 2014, including 2 book projects, & I hope to continue fitting in the Illustration Friday challenges when I can. I also received an ipad mini this holiday season, and am excited to learn some digital illustration techniques. (read: play with my new toy!!!) I'm totally new to this sort of thing (I don't even have a smart phone) so if anybody has any recommendations for apps for someone who at this time, doesn't have much of a clue, I'd love to hear them!! As always, I appreciate you stopping by, & hope you will continue to follow this blog into the new year!
Hey, where's all your comments? Maybe you're spending too much time on the evil facebook.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a smart phone either. But I do have an Ipad. I was going to ask you about cool apps. ha. I don't use it much, though. I still prefer creating art on my Cintiq screen.
Yeah, the Cintiq will be next if I like using the ipad. :)
DeleteI hope you have a breath-taking-ly great New Year, Mittele.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ted! You too!!! With the cold we're experiencing here out east, my breath has been taken away just walking to my car! ;)
DeleteGO NINERS!!
ReplyDeleteUh.......no.
DeleteBig Patriots fan, here!!!
You're East Coast. I'm West Coast. You're AFC. I'm NFC. At least we both like art.
DeleteHey, I had Vernon Davis on my fantasy team (the fantasy team that won the whole enchilada in my league, by the way!) so we're not totally on opposite ends of the world here! :)
DeleteFor not having a clue I might suggest looking up lynda.com. These are on line tutorials and they're fairly accessible...
ReplyDeletecheers!
.
