Illustration Friday - MIRROR

Not a good thing when you find your own image startling.....

Whipped this out super-quick this week, so not really my best effort. I've been having less and less time for the Illustration Friday challenges over the past month, but still managed to keep my streak going! HUGE project in the works that's been taking up most of my spare time, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel & think it'll be worth the effort!! As always, I appreciate your visit!!

  1. I realized last night that you didn't have an IF entry this week and got worried that your streak would be broken, so I'm stoked to see that you got one posted. Yeah, you may have knocked it out quick, but it's still pretty sweet! You've got so much personality in your characters that even a quick drawing works... also, I relate to this cat, as I have a similar reaction when I stumble to the sink every morning

  2. Love it! Something though has scared that kitty kat! Perhaps it's that feeling when you look at yourself in the mirror first thing in the morning!

  5. This is funny...its scared and when it sees itself scared it gets more scared and so on...until it turns into a black hole....maybe?

    1. You're onto something there Rod... a scaredy cat singularity... cut to the family dog trying to outrun the event horizon and you've got a story! Mit, get on that, your public demands it!

  6. Oh, it's very cute! A cat freaked out by his reflection is a great idea, and great job with the reflection. (I wasn't even going to try to do an actual reflection!) And I don't think it's necessary to always have a very detailed or huge or complicated illustration! Something simple but neat is a good option, too. :)
