Not a good thing when you find your own image startling.....
Whipped this out super-quick this week, so not really my best effort. I've been having less and less time for the Illustration Friday challenges over the past month, but still managed to keep my streak going! HUGE project in the works that's been taking up most of my spare time, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel & think it'll be worth the effort!! As always, I appreciate your visit!!
I realized last night that you didn't have an IF entry this week and got worried that your streak would be broken, so I'm stoked to see that you got one posted. Yeah, you may have knocked it out quick, but it's still pretty sweet! You've got so much personality in your characters that even a quick drawing works... also, I relate to this cat, as I have a similar reaction when I stumble to the sink every morningReplyDelete
Love it! Something though has scared that kitty kat! Perhaps it's that feeling when you look at yourself in the mirror first thing in the morning!ReplyDelete
lol, that is pretty much the expression I always have when I look in a mirror! Great stuff, try and keep up the streak, you can do it! :)ReplyDelete
You guys are so funny! But now that I think of it, MY hair kind of looks like that first thing in the morning!!! :)ReplyDelete
My really tion has less to do with hair(I have none) and more to do with looking like I've just been hit by a bus... I look rough at 3:30AM...Delete
This is funny...its scared and when it sees itself scared it gets more scared and so on...until it turns into a black hole....maybe?ReplyDelete
You're onto something there Rod... a scaredy cat singularity... cut to the family dog trying to outrun the event horizon and you've got a story! Mit, get on that, your public demands it!Delete
Oh, it's very cute! A cat freaked out by his reflection is a great idea, and great job with the reflection. (I wasn't even going to try to do an actual reflection!) And I don't think it's necessary to always have a very detailed or huge or complicated illustration! Something simple but neat is a good option, too. :)ReplyDelete
Perfect gag timing, perfect story tellin' and perfect execution. You get a smiley face with an A+ at the top of the page.ReplyDelete
Excellent, Mit! Perfect expression and "freaked-out" look. Awesome! Thanks for your kind visit - hope you get through that huge project soon so we can have a peek. : ) Have a wonderful weekend!!ReplyDelete
Oh that is scary! Heheheh! I have only seen a cat do that once. Thank you for making me smile today. Have a great week.ReplyDelete
Oh, that scaredy cat! very funny. I too am finding it hard to get to the IF's lately. Thanks for making time to visit! Good that you pulled it out! :) looking forward to seeing what your up to also! :DReplyDelete
