I actually started this one for JUNGLE but didn't get very far. I liked how it was coming along, & really wanted to finish it, so fortunately the green foliage works for LUSH too!!!

And this guy was something I'd done for St. Patrick's Day awhile ago. After a few more beers, I think he might be able to pass for LUSH too!!! What do you think? Am I stretching it this week??? :) As always, thanks for stopping by!!
That jungle is definitely Lush! I love that cheeky monkey sticking his tongue out, and the fact the bird is pooping mid flight, is that a form of attack or just fear I wonder? Great details! :)
ReplyDeleteThey are great
ReplyDeleteHehehe! This is funny. I love it.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, these cover the word requirement perfectly, Mit. You did it!
ReplyDeleteThe jungle piece is very intricate, isn't it? Being a parrot owner, I like that pooping Macaw, and no LUSH jungle setting is complete without a monkey taunting a Leopard. Ha!
Where's Jane??
ReplyDeleteLeopard ate Jane first..then Tarzan.
Deletewow! lots of lush in that illo!! i love it~ you have a good handle on doing 'scenes' which takes time to get it right. yours are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLove the frog... It seems that he knows how to enjoy life.. ;)
ReplyDeleteI like how you did the lines with the color, especially how the red on the bird pops. Besides, your art always makes me smile :)
ReplyDeleteI like how you covered both bases. Ha!
ReplyDeleteWell that's a very 'lush' jungle and I'm glad you finished it. I love the characters in both your jungle and St Patrick's illustrations. I would love to see an 'after celebrations' illustration of St Patty (the Pot Bellied Lizard).
ReplyDeleteThat is a very Lush Jungle, plenty of interesting animal characters. Looking forward to the next post :)
ReplyDeleteLike both VERY much, love the layers and complexity in the jungle scene, and love equally the icon/simplicity of the frog scene! Everyone is interacting and making a nicely rounded (if treacherous!) scene in the jungle, like how the cheetah looks almost friendly (and a little intellectually challenged!) and the monkeys/birds look smart and savvy.
ReplyDeleteHey Mit!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to leave you a note and let you know that my blog isn't completely gone, I've just had to make it so only I can access it for awhile so I can try and get rid of a couple 'pests' that have been leaving me cruel and nasty comments. I'm hoping they will just give up coming to my site after awhile of not finding it up and running. What a pain!! But I wanted to tell you this in case you wondered what happen to my blog. You have always been so sweet to contribute and I appreciate you. :D Wish me luck! xo
Oh no!!!! Some people suck, don't they? Good luck, & I can't wait til you're "back!"
DeleteThanks girl :)
