After the blizzard we just experienced last weekend here in New England, I was tempted to boycott this week's illustration challenge. I mean, when I hear 'storm' I can't help but think of the over 2' of snow I had the "pleasure" of shoveling to dig out my car on Saturday! But....in the end, I did not one, but TWO scenes inspired by last weekend, hoping they will be the last of the "storms" we see in these parts this season! :)

very fitting topic for this week... I really dig the rabbits struggling to see up over the drifts. Way to go on turning your trials and tribulations of the week into art Mit... great job!
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE the little bunnies! That little eye peaking over the snow!! Cross-eyed doggie is pretty cute too!
ReplyDeleteThe rabbits made me laugh out loud. I'm sitting at a friend's coffeeshop and I was loud enough to make people turn! Made my day Mit!
ReplyDeleteLOL. The rabbits make me laugh out loud too. So funny. Best of luck thawing out. Super job with this week's topic.
ReplyDeleteThese are too funny! That's what our dog looked like in the high snow...like she was swimming!!
ReplyDeletehaha!! very sweet and reminds me of my little pups first time out in the snow...she was not to please at first, but then decided she felt frisky with the cold on her belly! ;) I left a response for you on my storm post, but was unsure if you get notified of responses. :)
ReplyDeleteGood to see you still have a sense of humour after all that snow shovelling. Your characters are so cute and funny.
ReplyDeleteTwo fun creations, this makes the blizzard something positive after all... The rabbits are my favourite!
ReplyDeleteWay too cute!
ReplyDeleteDogs love the snow...mine always trys to eat it!
ReplyDeleteI love the dog! He looks so surprised by the snow. Great illustrations.
ReplyDeleteCute :) Thanks for making me smile today! I hope life has gone back to normal for you after the big storm.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that. We panic in UK when we have a few inches of snow (tho my car has been 'written off' after an accident on the day the snow came!).
ReplyDeleteI love the way you have just done the face of one rabbit and just the ears of the other.
I love the bunny ears!
ReplyDeleteSnow? What's that? We have to buy snow globes here so we know what it is.
ReplyDeleteAww so sweet! I do feel sorry for animals in deep snow, it is kind of funny when they step into it and suddenly sink, but then I feel I bad for them! :)
ReplyDeleteHehehehe, these are cute. Oh boy, I hear another storm is headed your way. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHihi those are some cute bunnies!
