It makes me wonder if the squirrel dropped it on purpose? Hokkaido (northern Japan, where I live) is known for the gray squirrels in the mountainous and forested areas, but there are NO SQUIRRELS in urban areas like there are in many US cities. I've often wondered what accounted for the difference.dosankodebbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04357411708254011194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7005187308715044223.post-71593734201650159562012-04-27T06:15:05.916-04:002012-04-27T06:15:05.916-04:00Great composition Mit and expression :o)Great composition Mit and expression :o)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01760805009626609382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7005187308715044223.post-68553871034132549092012-04-27T01:16:20.036-04:002012-04-27T01:16:20.036-04:00Oh no, he dropped his snack! I also forgot that the Eastern grey squirrel's territory does not expand across the whole U.S.! (I do remember I saw really cool black ones when I was hiking in the Grand Canyon!) I guess I've been taking these cute little rodents for granted all these years!! :)Creations By Mithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02553912158930813310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7005187308715044223.post-11271989289340453532012-04-26T10:53:05.615-04:002012-04-26T10:53:05.615-04:00I think we can learn a lot from squirrels - they a...I think we can learn a lot from squirrels - they are survivors for sure. Usually at mid-afternoon there's an army of them in the park, all standing upright like perfect little sentinels, but who knows what they're guarding. (Nuts, probably.) Then in an instant, they're all ducking underground for cover.
